About Cabarrus County Court Docket

Cabarrus County court records move through a unified North Carolina court system. The Cabarrus Clerk of Superior Court keeps the county file, District 25 courts hear and decide cases, and the statewide eCourts Portal supplies public Case Summaries. This private reference resource distinguishes those roles so readers can begin with the correct public channel and know when an official clerk record is needed.

Why We Built This Site

Cabarrus uses North Carolina's unified General Court of Justice. The North Carolina eCourts Portal can help locate a publicly available Case Summary, also called a Register of Actions. It is not the official court record. The Cabarrus Clerk of Superior Court maintains the county's court files, dockets, and indexes, while District 25 includes both Superior Court and District Court work.

The Cabarrus County Courthouse is the local route for clerk services and in-person court-file questions. North Carolina General Statute G.S. 7A-109 makes clerk records, files, dockets, and indexes available for public inspection during regular business hours unless the law restricts access. That boundary matters because some files are sealed, expunged, juvenile, or otherwise confidential.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

Cabarrus County Court Docket is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a North Carolina court, the Cabarrus Clerk of Superior Court, or any government agency. Its limits are important:

  • It cannot provide an official docket sheet or court file
  • It cannot set, change, reschedule, or reset a hearing
  • It cannot remove, seal, amend, or otherwise alter a court case
  • It cannot issue a certified copy of a docket, order, or other court document
  • It cannot give legal advice about a particular matter
  • It cannot promise that a court phone number, fee, or setting has not changed

Only the Cabarrus Clerk of Superior Court or the court holding the case can issue an official or certified court record. Portal results remain a public access tool, not an official copy.

Some pages include search boxes operated by third-party providers. Those providers run their own services and set their own prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee for this resource. The providers control their results, charges, and service terms.
